2024-2025       WI FCCLA Statewide Community Service Project

We are thrilled to announce our statewide, yearlong partnership with Rogers Behavioral Health and WISE: Initiative for Stigma Elimination. WISE unites people across the nation to support those touched by mental illness. WISE has a compassionate approach that champions personal stories and powerful connections, fostering healing by reducing stigma through evidence-based practices. They offer free online training resources, a video library of people in recovery, virtual educational events quarterly, blogs from experts, and research-based content. Please follow WISE on social media.

Some ways you can support this community service include hosting a coping skills drive, raising money to purchase items from the coping skills drive list, spread awareness of mental health by presenting free WISE workshops to your peers, school, and community, or commitment to listen and support others through the 7 Promises WISE program. Your chapters can also decorate boxes for the emotional toolkit supplies!

Join WI FCCLA’s statewide project by collecting items for emotional toolkits to be donated to WISE at the FCCLA State Leadership Conference! Check out the Coping Skills Drive flier, for ideas about what items to collect to bring to State Leadership Conference. This partnership is a fantastic opportunity for all of us to contribute to a cause that truly matters and has direct ties to the National Program, Student Body.
